Waterfront Academy just moved to 222 M Street SW in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. This is a short move - a few blocks away from the previous location.
We are excited about this new relationship and the future looks bright in the school's new home.
This isn't the first time Waterfront Academy and St. Matthew's Lutheran Church worked together - in 2019, the two entities worked together to bring an Easter Egg Hunt to children in Southwest, something we hope to do again in 2022.
The new school location is in a brand new building and has primary, elementary, and early adolescent classrooms - similar to the old building.
In addition to the classrooms, the new location has a larger administrative office, teacher's lounge, and cafeteria.
We continue our relationship with St. Dominic's Catholic Church and the students will take weekly pilgrimages to the church for the celebration of Mass and sacraments.
