Our Academics

Waterfront Academy is a dual immersion (Spanish and English) faith-based Montessori school with an emphasis on charity and stewardship in the Catholic tradition.

We serve children between 3 years old through 8th grade through several of our programs.

We are preparing children to be the next generation of leaders and decision-makers in a global economy through an academically rigorous program adhering to Montessori philosophies that foster independence, problem-solving, cultural awareness, and Christian stewardship in the Catholic tradition.

Elementary

Our elementary program focuses on developing the whole child through a curriculum designed specifically to meet the needs of children in 1st through 6th grades and helps develop a lifelong love of learning. Our students benefit from small classes and individualized lesson plans. This is an educational experience much different than the traditional model.

Early Adolescents

As children journey into the wonderful phase of early adolescence, our middle school offers a unique educational alternative that fosters intellectual, physical, and emotional development and allows them to achieve academic and leadership excellence, emphasizing respect and compassion toward others in a setting of great natural beauty and immense learning potential.

Primary

Waterfront Academy primary classroom optimizes each child's potential from Pre-school (age 3), Pre-Kinder, and Kindergarten. Children between the age of birth and six possess an "absorbent mind" with a capacity for an almost genius ability to cognitively absorb information. Application of the Montessori pedagogy and the specific materials aids each child's ability to maximize their academic potential.
