We are seeking passionate and experienced Montessori Primary, Elementary, and Early Adolescence Teachers to join our team at Waterfront Academy. Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and principles and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children in the appropriate stage of development.
Responsibilities: Plan and implement Montessori curriculum and activities that promote children's intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate with parents about their child's development. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive school culture. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learning. Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related events as required.
Requirements:
Montessori teaching certification from a recognized Montessori training program
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a Montessori classroom
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for working with children and promoting their holistic development
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
