We are so blessed that the Easter Bunny came by the school today to help us celebrate with an Easter Egg Hunt. This is a annual tradition for Waterfront Academy. The students made their Easter baskets then met outside on the lawn of the playground to find the Easter eggs. The Easter Bunny kicked off the hunt with a countdown and then said for photos with the children.
The students have such a great time with the Easter Egg Hunt each year. "Easter Eggs have a long tradition with Catholics going back to St. Mary Magdalene (you can read about here). Similarly, I suspect it will be a long standing tradition here at Waterfront Academy." said Melissa Rohan, president of Waterfront Academy.
