Waterfront Academy has been awarded accreditation by the International Montessori Council (IMC) and is now a part of a global network of accredited Montessori schools. The IMC Accreditation Commission and the IMC Board of Trustees took this action on May 26, 2020.
The whole school community, teachers, staff, students, and parents have been working for the last two years towards this accreditation, and it is exciting to recognized as the authentic Montessori school that we strive to be.
The IMC provides Waterfront Academy with a rigorous accreditation that fully encompasses the principles and philosophy of Montessori education.
As an accredited institution, we are a part of a community of Montessori schools around the world dedicated to collaboration, support, and improvement through accreditation.
