Waterfront Academy and Anunovich Associates had a Green Apple Day. Anunovich Associates talked with our parents about ways to model environmental stewardship and then we all built a raised garden bed with a composting component that they donated to the school. The children had fun planting the starter vegetables and herb plants.
In addition to building the composting raised bed garden, we picked up litter and trimmed trees on the school grounds.
